Virtual Reality / Extended Reality

Hawke Multimedia has spent more than eight years working with virtual reality and 360-degree imaging technologies, exploring ways to apply these tools beyond traditional marketing and media production. Our focus has been on using immersive technology to support public safety training, operational familiarization, education, and community outreach.

In 2025, Hawke Multimedia expanded its capabilities by adopting a new professional platform for building and hosting immersive virtual environments. These environments (commonly referred to as digital twins, VR models, or 360 tours) allow organizations to document facilities, vehicles, equipment, and operational spaces in an interactive format that can be accessed through any modern web browser.

This platform allows Hawke Multimedia to provide secure, reliable access to immersive environments while maintaining the flexibility organizations require. Tours can be fully white-labeled to match an agency’s branding, deployed under custom domains, and structured for either public viewing or controlled access. The system also allows for large-scale environments with virtually unlimited panoramic images, enabling entire facilities, fleets of apparatus, or large operational areas to be documented within a single cohesive model.

By combining ground-level capture, drone imagery, and specialized 360 imaging systems, Hawke Multimedia can integrate land, sea, and air assets into one unified interactive environment. These immersive models can support training, equipment familiarization, facility orientation, and public education.

Now in 2026, Hawke Multimedia has expanded these capabilities even further through the development of advanced custom interactive features. These systems allow immersive environments to go beyond simple walkthroughs and function as interactive training and engagement platforms.

We can now implement a variety of custom solutions including engagement tracking, progress monitoring, guided training elements, and other specialized features designed to enhance both training and user interaction.

• Fully Immersive 360° Virtual Environments
High-resolution 360° imagery allows users to explore facilities, vehicles, equipment, and environments interactively through a web browser. These environments function as digital twins that replicate real-world locations for training, planning, education, and public engagement.

• White-Labeled VR Deployments
Virtual environments can be fully branded to match an agency or organization. Custom domains, logos, and branding elements allow the experience to appear as a native part of the organization’s own digital infrastructure.

• Unlimited Scene Environments
Large environments can be built without strict scene limits, allowing entire facilities, campuses, fleets of apparatus, or operational areas to be captured within a single immersive model.

• Land, Air, and Marine Integration
Multiple capture methods including ground-based imaging and aerial drone imagery can be combined into a single interactive model, allowing organizations to showcase facilities, vehicles, aircraft, vessels, and surrounding environments together.

• Multi-Experience Collection Systems
Multiple virtual environments can be grouped together under a single access point. This allows organizations to create collections such as complete apparatus fleets, training modules, or facility networks within one organized portal.

• Persistent On-Screen Information Panels
Important information such as instructions, safety notices, branding, or training guidance can remain visible while users explore the environment through fixed-position interface panels.

• Interactive SmartTool Inventory System
A drag-and-drop interactive system that allows users to select and place tools or equipment within training scenarios. This system can be used for operational training, equipment familiarization, and decision-making exercises.

• Progress Tracking System
A visual progress indicator tracks user interaction as they move through an environment. Hidden or visible checkpoints allow organizations to measure how much of the environment has been explored.

• Discovery Point Interaction System
Hidden interaction triggers can be embedded directly into the environment, allowing users to locate hazards, evidence, or important items without obvious markers. This supports training exercises such as safety inspections, scavenger hunts, or forensic identification.

• Session Login & Contact Capture
An entry prompt can request user information such as name, email, or agency before accessing the environment. This allows organizations to track participation or restrict access to specific audiences.

• Approved Email Access Control
Access to immersive environments can be restricted to pre-approved email addresses stored in a secure database. Users without authorization are prevented from entering the environment.

• Real-Time Engagement Tracking
User activity within the environment can be logged and recorded, allowing organizations to measure participation, identify completed sections, and review engagement data.

• Instructor Dashboard & Session Monitoring
Training administrators can review user interaction data through a dashboard interface, allowing instructors to track participation, completion progress, and session activity.

• Live Note-Taking Module
Users can record notes during the immersive experience. Notes are automatically synchronized to a central database, allowing instructors or administrators to review observations and responses.

• Session Timer & Time-Limited Experiences
Training environments can include countdown timers to simulate operational pressure or enforce time limits. When time expires, the system can lock the environment and display a completion or timeout message.

• Embedded Static Instruction Panels
Custom instructional images, diagrams, legends, or icons can be permanently embedded within the environment to guide users through tasks or training objectives.

• Gamified Training Environments
Interactive elements such as progress tracking, discovery points, and tool selection systems can be combined to create structured training scenarios and challenge-based learning environments.

• Secure Cloud Infrastructure
Virtual environments are hosted through secure, professionally managed infrastructure designed to support organizational deployments and reliable long-term access.

• Cross-Platform Compatibility
Experiences can be viewed on desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and most VR headsets through standard web browsers without requiring specialized software installations.

• Tour Migration from Other Platforms
Existing virtual tours created on other platforms such as those produced using systems like Matterport can often be migrated into our immersive environment platform. This allows organizations to preserve their existing capture work while gaining access to expanded capabilities, custom interactive features, white-label deployment, and advanced training integrations without needing to recreate their entire environment from scratch.
